Airtasker came knocking on the TMC saloon door seeking a campaign to launch a new brand platform; Task Smarter.
Historically, the marketplace has been perceived as a place for quirky, trivial or one off tasks and this proposition set out to evolve this to a more mature and trusted destination for all sorts of expert services.
One thing is true in the world… We’re all really good at something, but we’re hopeless at something else. This insight fuelled the creative launch theme – “It’s amazing what you can’t do”. From the wildlife photographer who has no idea about hanging picture frames to the hazardous chemicals engineer who turns cleaning carpet stains into a disaster. These amusing scenarios were brought to life, underpinned by the expert services Airtasker provides to get the job done.
TMC set about crafting 30, 15 and 10 second free to air and digital media spots along with digital display, social assets and custom photography – providing a launch pad for the next phase of the brand’s growth.
For the record, TMC are great in a saloon shoot out but not so great at repairing broken windows. Better get onto Airtasker.
